Which? asked Tangent One to develop an online welcome for new members to highlight the depth of content on the site, and introduce some features and member benefits that they may not have been aware of.
Tangent One produced a series of five videos, with the aim of introducing each topic in a light, accessible way. The hand animated short videos explain how users can use the advice and reviews on the Which? site to aid their buying research. They also provide a gentle introduction to the Which? Helpline, Which? Local and Switch with Which?.
This site housing the video player is built in Flash and uses the style and visuals from the videos to create a consistent and engaging look and feel.
The E-Welcome has proved popular with users and there are plans to produce additional short videos for other areas of the Which? Site in the future.
